Oral Health: Mouth is the gate to Health

The saying “Health starts at the mouth” is a scientific fact. Diseases of the teeth, gums or oral mucosa have a profound effect on the whole body. Teeth or temporomandibular joint disorders affect the musculoskeletal system and can cause chronic headaches and reflexive headaches.

As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, I always have the health of my patients under surveillance, and with the dentist or even the orthodontist, I aim to keep your oral health at a high level.

Also, my goal as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon is to permanently reduce the number of germs in your mouth. So I try to eliminate germs in the mouth eg. damaged teeth or chronic gum inflammation. Anatomical conditions of each patient also play an important role in maintaining health, eg:

  • How is the bone?
  • Do the teeth have a positive prognosis?
  • Is the oral mucosa healthy?
  • Are there particular areas of risk due to anatomical morphology?

The aim is to restore patients’ oral health and to maintain it permanently. So we avoid the risk to your health.
